I used different types of yarn to get different textures. Ideally, you should just glue gun the yarn at the top and bottom, but I glued everything because I don't like the yarn moving. Also, with the type of yarn (especially that one on the left), if I didn't glue everything, there would have been gaps showing the bottle.
Tip: Don't take out the labels because glue adheres to the labels better than the glass itself.
This is an easy craft because you're just basically gluing and winding yarn around a bottle. However, it's labor intensive, especially if you do what I did and glue everything. I had to work fast because the glass made the glue cool faster and sometimes the yarn didn't stick. Also winding yarn around a bottle sounds simple, but it can be frustrating because the yarns slips.
Below is what I came up with, and decided to stay with the last picture with the cinnamon sticks in one vase.
