My first sponsored child's name is Jesster. That sponsorship recently ended because the project was completed. Bittersweet moment. I'll miss him, but I know he, his family, and his community are now able to sustain themselves. Now I have Joshua. We haven't communicated with each other. I will include the monogram in the first letter I'll send him.
Just a thought. I've decided not to name my future children a name that starts with the letter "J" because I know way too many people with "J" names. What are the odds that my sponsored children have "J" names?
So if you look closely, the ribbon monogram is not without it's messy flaws, and the bookmark is obviously & almost painfully simple. *Sigh* I must, and tell you that, at least, they were made with love. I'm becoming more aware that I cannot make imperfect crafts. That irks me. Even the scarf I recently knitted has 2 obvious flaws. And the mini throw I'm now knitting already has a flaw because the yarn snapped on me. Irked. Anyway, I'm posting no instructions for these crafts because they're really no-brainer crafts.
But if you want to know more about sponsoring a child, please visit WorldVision.org, Compassion.org, or many other websites of many other child sponsorship programs. Please consider helping a child in need.
